4.3.3 Programming the CPLD

To program the CPLD, use these steps:

1. Install Lattice ispLEVER Project Navigator Ver 6.0 on the PC.

2. From the Start menu, select Programs > Lattice Semiconductor > Accessories >

ispVM System.

3. Connect the Lattice CPLD ispDOWNLOAD Cable to the PC parallel port.

4. Attach the JTAG connector to CN2 on the Debug board.

5. Power on the Debug board.

6. Scan Chain.

The CPLD device list is displayed (Figure 4-4).

7. Double-click LCMXO1200C.
